Virtual Human Resources Assistant

I am a freelance HR Assistant with over 14 years of HR experience. Having started my career in the financial sector as a HR Administrator and working my way through the ranks to HR Advisor and HR Operations Manager, I have a wealth of experience to be able to help you get on top of your HR needs. 

If you feel like your HR admin is getting on top of you or if you need some interim HR support to get you through a busy period, then please get in touch. I can assist on a temporary basis without the need to hire a team and with no agency fees, hidden costs or long-term commitments. I currently offer a virtual HR Assistant service. This can be either on an ad-hoc basis to help with a particular project or busy time, or alternatively I can provide a retainer package where my time is guaranteed to be yours for an agreed amount of hours per month.

• Screening CV’s and shortlisting candidates 
• Arranging interviews 
• Giving feedback to successful and unsuccessful candidates 
• Producing and sending employment packs (offer letters, contracts and other new starter information) to successful candidates 
• Pre-employment screening including references and right to work checks 
• Benefits administration 
• Probationary period monitoring 
• Employment lifecycle administration 
• Creating and managing organisational charts 
• Updating and maintaining job descriptions 
• Updating your HR system 
• Branding / updating policies and handbooks 
• Holiday requests and overtime 
• Absence management (sickness, maternity leave) 
• Creating HR process documents and document templates 
• Leaver processing and exit interviews 
• Providing general HR advice  
• General administration

How does the service work? 

After identifying your needs, I’ll send you a contract that is signed by both of us before any work begins.  

I will then need to be provided with any login details to your current HR system (if you have one), or any relevant documents/policies that you already have in place and then we are good to go! Rest assured all information provided is completely confidential and will be treated with the upmost sensitivity, as documented in our contract. 

Good communication and clear instructions on how you would like me to work with your business is the best way to really hit the ground running. I can get involved in as little, or as much as you like. I can also put processes in place to help you become more self-sufficient going forwards, without the pressures of employing and managing a permanent HR team.

Pricing 

As your HR support, you will only be paying for the hours I work with no hidden costs. No recruitment fees, holiday pay or sick pay etc. 

Hourly Rate: £45 per hour.  

This option is popular if you need one-off help/support with a particular project or task 

Monthly Package: £320 per 8 hours (can be spread over multiple days) 

This option guarantees ongoing, monthly support.  

This is usually the most cost-effective option if you have regular tasks that need to be completed or systems that need to be maintained. It secures my time every month so you can rest assured the jobs will be done without having to re-engage my services.
